The Rivendell Project has been fortunate
to secure a number of very talented people for its agricultural research and development team. You can read a little about each of them by clicking on the links at the bottom of this page.
Through their research it has been possible for Rivendell Organics to create a protected growing system that produces high quality vegetables at a far greater intensity (output per square metre) than has previously been possible for any organic certified system in Australia.
Parallel to this research has been the development of an aquaponic system that increases Rivendell Organics’ already very high intensity output by as much as twelve fold. Our patented aquaponic system is called the Ecocity Farm™ and has the potential to revolutionise the way we produce and market food.

The Ecocity Farm™ was a recent episode winner on the ABC’s popular program, The New Inventors.

Rivendell Organics employs four full time staff and also provides regular casual employment for ten local residents. With continued efforts in research, and consistent refinements to our production system, we see the Rivendell Organics brand name becoming synonymous with quality in the organic food industry.
