Brad
Moulton studied Mathematics and Physics at the University of New
South Wales before moving into the Information Technology Sector. Brad
has worked in the technology sector for more than 20 years. He has
worked in many countries across the world including the United Kingdom,
The Pacific Islands and Thailand.
Brad
joined the Rivendell Project in 2004 to help establish the commercial
hothouses. Having successfully completed this task he is now working on
the Business development of the EcoCity Farm Project.
From
2000 to 2004 Brad worked as a Technology Consultant in the local
area becoming involved in both local government and private sector
projects. During this time he was also involved in a mentoring program
to help young IT graduates develop in the early stages of their career.
During this time Brad also established a successful small scale organic farm growing Asian vegetables.
From
1995 to 2000 Brad was the Chief Information Officer for National
Textiles Ltd one of Australia's largest textile manufacturing
companies. In this role he was responsible for the implementation of
technology solutions across the entire group. Part of this work
included working closely with local technology providers in Fiji
to help build a sustainable IT presence in that region.
From
1991 to 1995 Brad worked for Soft Centre Research, the research and
development division of one of Australia's leading software companies.
This role included research into alternative technology models for
developing countries.
