Nigel Reid is the director of The Tozai Unit Trust which oversees the Rivendell Project, an eco-development comprising the Rivendell Village,
a master-planned integrated lifestyle settlement, and Rivendell
Organics, a commercial and research farm connected to the village. All
intellectual property that has been generated in the design process for
the village is held by Takanawa Pty Ltd, while the intellectual
property derived from the agricultural research is held by Urban
Ecological Systems Pty Ltd.
